Jet powered 4,320 kmh artillery shell with 150km range
Ferrari Press Agency
Sceptre 1
Ref 16842

Picture MUST credit: Tiberius Aerospace
An artillery shells that can reach more than three times the speed of sound and a range of 150km has been developed
The Sceptre is a revolutionary new liquid-fuelled piece of precision-guided artillery munition.
It uses an engine with ramjet technology which kicks into action after launch.
The technology sucks in air, compresses it, mixes it with fuel, burns it, and shoots it out the back to push the shell forward.
It is described as delivering superior precision and dramatically improves the cost-effectiveness of howitzer-class artillery.
The Sceptre has been developed by USA-based Tiberius Aerospace.
It has a top speed of mach 3.5 which is 4,320 km/h and can hit altitudes in excess of 19.800 metres which is beyond enemy jamming range.
The company says Its unique design balances performance and operational efficiency to deliver a next-generation munition for both current and future artillery.

RETRO - England: Horn Dance in der 50er Jahren
Horn Dancers
The collectors speculate on the side of the "tribute" they will receive after dancing to the guests of Lord and Lady Bogot at Blithfield Hall. The ladle maid Marion is carrying was in older times used for the collection . On the left is the Fool; Douglas Powell has been Horn dancing for 14 years , but has no notion of pagan origin of pig's baldder which he has by traiditon on the end of his stick and string. Maid Marian is Bernard Fowell , who has been dancing for about 20 years . There are two other Fowells among the White Horns
The Abbots Bromley Horn Dance is an English folk dance dating back to the Middle Ages. The dance takes place each year in Abbots Bromley, a village in Staffordshire, England.
