Police in the USA are hunting thief who raided a store — dressed as animated cartoon character Scooby-Doo.
Officers in Tuscaloosa, Alabama, are trying to identify the suspect who was dressed in full Scooby-Doo brown spotted fancy dress.
The incident took place in the early hours of Sunday, June 22, at a convenience store.
According to Tuscaloosa Police, the break-in happened at around 3:45 a.m., triggering the store’s alarm system catching him on CCTV camera.
The suspect paired the suit with a green ski mask and used a duffel bag to carry off his contraband.
It included a haul of cash and coins.
A police spokesperson joked with a witness appeal: “Hey gang! We need your help solving a mystery.
“This individual in a Scooby-Doo suit broke into the Quick Stop on Highway 82 in Duncanville.
“Officers responded to the store after the security alarm activated at 3:45 a.m. Sunday.”
Referring to Scooby’s love of Scooby Snack dog treats, they added: ““The suspect took cash and coins, but no snacks.
“Anyone who can help us unmask this villain may call 205-349-2121 or submit an anonymous tip on our app. “

At 2:15pm a group of 7 women crossed in front of the Richard Osborn-Brooks«s house, which is still kept by the police, with several bunch of flowers and balloons, to put them as a tribute to the killed Henry Vincent in a fence near the house.
Pensioner Richard Osborn-Brooks has been released without charge after he confronted a pair of burglars at his home in South East London, killing one of them.

The 'hero' pensioner cleared over the fatal stabbing of a burglar is reportedly too scared to return to his home over fears of a revenge attack.
The 78-year-old is now believed to be in hiding with his disabled wife, Maureen, over fears associates of Vincent will come after them.

*EXCLUSIVE* Hollywood Hills, CA - Kanye West beef's up security at his Hollywood Hills home after it was broken into early this morning while the rap superstar was out wrapping up his European "Watch the Throne" tour with Jay-Z. Detectives where at the house this afternoon checking out the scene and interviewing nearby neighbors. In May, it was reported that Kanye put the same house on sale as a "pocket listing," meaning all parties agreed to keep the listing private. At the same time, Kanye's main squeeze, Kim Kardashian, also put her L.A.-area home up for sale, sparking rumors that the couple were planning to move in together.
