    Wolf's Lair Complex, Ketrzyn, Poland - 13 Nov 2019
The Wolf's Lair (German: Wolfsschanze; Polish: Wilczy Szaniec) was Adolf Hitler's first Eastern Front military headquarters in World War II. Three security zones surrounded the central complex where the Fuhrer's bunker was located. In total, Hitler spent more than 800 days in Wolf's Lair until his final departure on 20 November 1944.
Many of the buildings were destroyed in 1944, shortly before the Red Army descended. On July 20 in 1944, a man named Claus von Stauffenberg, a German army officer, deployed a bomb in a briefcase during a military conference, which was intended to kill the dictator. The bomb only killed four men, with Hitler surviving.

Rubina Ali's home is bulldozed in Garib Nagar, Bandra in Mumbai, India - 20 May 2009
Bulldozers have flattened the home of another Slumdog Millionaire actor in the Garib Nagar section of Mumbai today. Nine-year-old Rubina Ali, who played Freida Pinto's character as a young street orphan in the hit film, has been left homeless after city officials demolished her parents' shanty home. The move comes less than a week after her co-star, 10-year-old Azharuddin Mohammed Ismail, also had his home bulldozed. The demolition of both homes was part of a government mandated "pre-monsoon sweep" of illegally built shanties. Director Danny Boyle and producer Christian Coulson have promised to donate $30,000 to ultimately help the young stars find permanent housing.
