Highland Park July 4th Parade Gunman Sentenced To Life In Prison
ROBERT CRIMO III, 24, the gunman pleaded guilty to the mass shooting at the 2022 Fourth of July parade in Highland Park, Illinois, has been sentenced to life in prison. Though he was not in court during his sentencing hearing Wednesday and he did not watch the proceedings from jail, survivors and loved ones of those killed shared their stories. Crimo also know as Bobby, received seven consecutive life sentences without the possibility of parole for each person killed in the deadly holiday attack. Received an additional 50-year sentence for each of the 48 attempted murder charges, which will be served concurrently. Charged with 21 counts of murder, three counts for each person killed. ''This court has absolutely no words that could capture the pain and horror of that July 4th,'' Judge V. Rossetti said as she announced the sentencing decision. Crimo had changed his plea to guilty last month in the shooting that left seven people dead and more than 40 injured. The plea change, which came just moments before opening statements at his trial, was a shock to many, including his own attorneys, even after years of unpredictable legal proceedings. Prosecutors showcased evidence that would have been used in his trial, including testimony from survivors, relatives of those killed and other witnesses on the rescue of a child left orphaned and a “post-apocalyptic scene” of bodies in the street and bullet-ridden lawn chairs and strollers. “It went from watching a parade to utter chaos,” testified Ms. Ring, who attended the parade with her husband and three kids. “We just had to keep going. We just knew that staying still was not a safe idea and we were terrified.”: FILE PHOTO SHOT ON: July 5, 2022, Highland Park, Illinois, USA: Police mugshot of ROBERT E. CRIMO III, 21. Un chariot de golf intelligent et autonome a été développé pour suivre un joueur et l'aider comme un caddy
Pictures must credit: iXi.Golf A self-driving smart golf trolley has been developed that follows a player around and gives help like a caddy. The iXi is able to negotiate any course entirely on its own so no pulling or pushing is required. It is also equipped with a touch screen and connected app that analyses swing and shots. The trolley is able to autonomously navigate to the green’s exit in the direction of the next tee, saving time and effort. The hands-free operation comes with body recognition so it knows which player to follow and understands voice commands. The touch screen has access to GPS maps, shot distances, club recommendations, and more for what the Belgium-based makers call “ smarter play.” It also offers instant feedback, ball trajectory visuals, and frame-by-frame reviews to improve a game. The company says the iXi evolves over time into a more advanced version of itself over time It automatically moves to the end of the green in the direction of the next tee with the player simply showing it their putter. The cart is pre-loaded with maps of more than 40,000 golf courses for precise navigation. It has hole distances, par, and green details on the integrated display i and iXi calculates distances. Dutch beach restaurants add sunscreen 'shots' to menu in fight against cancer
Hospitality venues across the Netherlands partake in a new scheme to combat high rates of deadly melanoma.

160 hospitality venues around the Netherlands are taking part in a new sunburn prevention scheme. The small, wet and windy country might not be known for its tropical climes, but the Dutch have one of Europe's highest diagnosis rates for melanoma, the deadliest form of skin cancer.
