 July 27, 2017 - Kolkata, west bengal, india - Udaynarayanpur, Kolkata, West Bengal, India : Udaynarayanpur, a village of Howrah district .of West Bengal, India, where flood take place. On thursday 27th July 2017 Damodar valley .corporation (DVC) release more water from its dams and sounded red alert on surrounding .areas villages including Udaynarayanpur. An additional 2,49,450 cusecs water released .from Durgapur barrage on 27th July morning which submerged the area completely. .People get dry food and tarpoolin as relief from West Bengal government. Entire area get .disconnected from all means of connecting medium. The disaster takes place when barrage .at Udaynarayanpur broken due to heavy flow of water that comes from dams.
