NEWS - Umweltkatastrophe in Griechenland: Ölteppich erreicht Athens Touristengebiete
September 14, 2017 - Athens Riviera, Attica, Greece - Municipal workers along with volunteers try to contain the oil spill from the Greek tanker Agia Zoni II, which sank off the island of Salamis, on the beaches of Glyfada and other parts of the Athens riviera. Athens, September 14, 2017. The small tanker 'Agia Zoni II' sank on September 10, whilst anchored off the coast of Salamis, near Greece's main port of Piraeus. It was carrying a cargo of 2,200 tons of fuel oil and 370 tons of marine gas oil. Salamis Island has suffered heavy pollution as a result in what has been called a 'major environmental disaster' by officials (FOTO: DUKAS/ZUMA)
