A robot tennis coach has been developed that can track a human player’s position on the court, serve a range of shots, and simulate actual tennis matches.
It can serve balls with either topspin, under spin at up to 60 rotations per second.
There is also a no spin option,
There is a maximum service speed of 130 km/h.
PongBot is a lot more than a remote-controlled, tennis-ball-serving machine.
It is equipped with artificial intelligence loaded with data from 100,000 real tennis matches while all kinds of settings can be programmed using a smartphone app.
The robot sits on the base line on one side of the net while the human opponent wears a clip-on sensor that allows the machine to know where on the court they are.
It is loaded with up to 150 tennis balls and then fires them using a choice of customised drills right down the individual ball level.
PongBot also knows if the human player moves fast or slowly adjusting the speed and time between deliveries accordingly.

PongBot also knows if the human player moves fast or slowly adjusting the speed and time between deliveries accordingly.

A new gadget is promising to cure anyone who snores —by training their tongue to relax.
According to the maker, snoring happens when tongue muscles get too relaxed, causing the airway to become clogged during sleep.
The device called Snorles GenioFlex Recent buzz is designed to tighten those muscles for “ smoother, quieter breathing.”
It consists of a mouthpiece that sits under the tongue and is connected to a rechargeable hand-held unit that zaps the tongue with micro currents.
The Hong Kong-based company recommends starting with a 20 minute session, once a day for the first four weeks.
It can then be reduced to just once a week to keep the muscles toned.
The mouthpiece is made from food-grade, stain resistant silicone.
Stainless steel contact points release the electro pulses
The pulses come in three modes - gentle, moderate and strong with 10 intensity levels.
The controller is used to control the pulse voltage and current waveform to match a user’s muscles condition.
It is claimed that this way users with different sensitivities and at various stages in the training can find the perfect level for themselves.

Cat Throne trains pets to use the toilet

Here’s a cat litter device designed to make them feel like royalty.
The Cat Throne fits onto a human lavatory bowl seat and trains pets to use the loo so their deposits can be simply flushed away.
It is particularly useful for animals living in apartments without outdoor access.
It was originally designed by US-based cat lover Heather Wagner for senior and disabled pussies.
The Cat Throne features a seat that clips onto a specially designed toilet seat.
The throne seat has extra surface area and a non-slip texture.
Three varying litter trays are provided that snap into the Cat Throne seat for fast training.
The first has a solid base, the second has a small opening and the third has a larger opening.
They are filled with soluble cat litter.
At first the kitty is encouraged to use the one with no opening.
Once it is used to that it can graduate to the one with a small aperture before using the third and final box.
When a cat has done its business, the owner can scoop out the contaminated litter and drop it into the bowl for flushing.
