Golden Age Of Cinema
Jun 02, 1964 - London, England, UK - Hungarian-American actress and socialite ZSA ZSA GABOR with her fourth husband, American industrialist HERBERT HUNTER, during a dinner in Hilton Hotel in London. Hungarian actress Zsa Zsa Gabor is the prototypical 'professional celebrity': famous merely for being famous. She started her stage career in 1933 and three years later won the title of Miss Hungary. She followed her sister Eva to America in 1941, but unlike Eva, did not devote herself to acting. Rather, she inaugurated her lifelong career of collecting jewelry, husbands, and front-page publicity. (Credit Image: © KEYSTONE Pictures USA)/ eyevine

Duke And Dutchess Of Windsor
Aug 03, 1961; Venice, ITALY; Duke of Windsor (formerly EDWARD VIII) and his wife Dutchess of Windsor (WALLIS SIMPSON) during a vacation in Venice. Edward VIII had met and fallen in love with a married American woman, Mrs Wallis Simpson. Concern about Edward's private life grew in the Cabinet, opposition parties and the Dominions, when Mrs Simpson obtained a divorce in 1936 and it was clear that Edward was determined to marry her. Eventually Edward realised he had to choose between the Crown and Mrs Simpson who, as a twice-divorced woman, would not have been acceptable as Queen. In 1937, Edward was created Duke of Windsor and married Wallis Simpson in a ceremony in France. Edward VIII is the only British monarch to have voluntarily relinquished the throne.
