Fühlen sich an, wie ein Spaziergang im Park - Flipflops mit Grassohle von KUSA / 131216

*** DECEMBER 13, 2016: CENTRAL COAST, NSW. Inventor Yashin Radhakrishnan holds his grass covered thongs during a photo shoot on the Central Coast, New South Wales. Yashin, owner of KUSA Flip Flops, developed the thongs so the wearer could feel like they were walking around barefoot. ***
[Aussie grass thongs ‘taking off all over the world’ Do you want lush green lawn under your feet but just can’t be bothered watering and mowing your grass? Then a local inventor might just have the remedy heading into summer. Yashin Radhakrishnan, of Bensville, is an industrial designer by day, but moonlights as the owner of KUSA Flip Flops – a company that makes thongs covered in artificial grass. The design screams Australian summer, and only deviates from real thing in that it doesn’t pierce your foot with bindiis. “We were doing a project at work that was using AstroTurf and someone said, ‘we should carpet the whole office in this – it’d be awesome’,” Mr Radhakrishnan said. “That idea led me to buy a pair of cheap thongs and glued some AstroTurf over the top. “I was walking around at work and on public transport with them and people would stare at me and start talking to me – it was a real conversation starter.”] (FOTO: DUKAS/ACTIONPRESS) *** Local Caption *** 23631380

The team created a vacuum-powered backpack which sticks to any material thanks to it incredible suction power. With a flick of a valve the suction on one vacuum can be released - giving the gutsy individual the ability to climb a 90-foot wall without fear.
