A 92-year-old former Spitfire pilot has become Britain's oldest male skydiver - leaping out of a plane at an incredible 12,000 feet. War veteran Peter Proctor flew Spitfires and Hurricanes every day for four years during the Second World War, but never had to use a parachute. Now, nearly 70 years after leaving the RAF, the plucky pensioner, who walks with a stick, has made his first skydive, falling at around 120mph before the parachute opened. "It was amazing and very exhilarating, I'd definitely do it again. In fact I wouldn't have minded taking the plane up myself," said Peter, from Southport, Merseyside. "I flew planes in the Second World War but everyone was surprised because I never had to use a parachute, thank goodness. "I didn't feel nervous before the skydive, the jump didn't bother me one bit."

    Woolly Jumper's Lucky Escape
While their proud parents look on these baby goats love jumping for joy while 5,000ft up a snow covered mountain slope.

However, it all almost ended in disaster when one fun loving kid accidentally dislodged a 300lb boulder - sending it crashing down the mountain and almost wiping out its entire family.

Thankfully, the rocky mountain goats were able to scurry out of the way before the huge rock crashed down the slope.

Prison worker Kent Keller photographed the extraordinary sight before he too had to scramble out the way to avoid being hit by the boulder.

The father of one took the photographs while on holiday at the Mount Timpanogos Wilderness in Utah, America.

Kent, 55, said: "The goats stay on the cliffs for a few hours and then come back down to feed.

"When they come off the cliffs and reach the snowfields they don't just walk down them.

"Both adults and young ones run, jump and spin in circles as they come down. It is obvious they do this just for the sheer joy and exhilaration of it.

"A big danger of photographing goats is the vertical environment where they live.

"Goats above knock rocks loose all the time as they walk and touch them with their feet.

"One of the photos shows a 300lb boulder crashing down a snowfield that was knocked loose when a goat on the cliff stepped on it.

"The goats below and I had to scramble to get out of the way. I am constantly dodging smaller rocks that get knocked loose by goats above me".

Kent, from Salt Lake City, America, added: "I get a thrill out of photographing goats and other wildlife.

"Photography forces me to spend long periods of time with them and to get to know individuals and behaviours.

"It is a special thrill to capture moments that others never see."
