PEOPLE - Miley Cyrus happy mit Verlobungsring in ihrem neuen Music Video 'Malibu'
11 May 2017 - Los Angeles - USA
*** STRICTLY NOT AVAILABLE FOR USA ***
Miley Cyrus flashes a lot of skin - and her engagement ring - in music video for new single Malibu. The singer shows off a lot of her body in the video, which is an ode to fiance Liam Hemsworth. The actor is nowhere to be seen in the new clip, he is everywhere - in the soft airy lyrics, in the way she is filmed and in her engagement ring which is back on her finger.
The video celebrates the love the pair have for each other and Malibu beach, California, where they fell for each other once again. In the video Cyrus rolls around in the grass in a skimpy white dress and is also seen caressing her own body while wearing white bikini bottoms and a cream jumper. She is also seen running on the beach in a bikini top and white pants and in another shot runs along the shoreline with a huge bunch of balloons. In the song, the hitmaker sings that she never thought three years ago, referring to when they called off their engagement in 2013, that she would have been writing a long song about him: "But here I am, next to you." With a twang she croons: 'We are just like the waves that flow back and forth/ Sometimes I feel like I'm drowning/ And you're there to save me/ And I wanna thank you with all of my heart/ It's a brand new start/ A dream come true in Malibu." She goes on to describe their perfect beach day: "We watched the sun go down as we were walking/ I'd spend the rest of my life standing here talking."
