October 7, 2025, Kathmandu, Nepal: Masked dancers portraying deities of the Thecho Navadurga perform an annual ritual dance at the Mulchowk courtyard of Patan Durbar Square in Lalitpur, Nepal. The centuries-old Thecho Navadurga Naach is among the most sacred Newar traditions, performed twice a year during Vijaya Dashami and Kojagrat Purnima. The festival takes place this year during the Brazil-France 2025 Season, which marks the 200th anniversary of diplomatic relationships between the two countries. The festival is one of the biggest and most important events of Brazilian culture in Europe and is inspired by the centuries-old ritual of the 'Lavagem do Bonfim' (washing of the stairs of the Bonfim church) carried out by the Afro-Brazilian community in Salvador da Bahia. Iron Maiden are an English heavy metal band formed in ‘75. The band's discography has grown to 41 albums, including 17 studio albums, 13 live albums, four EPs, and seven compilations. They have also released 47 singles and 20 video albums.
As pioneers of the new wave of British heavy metal movement, Iron Maiden achieved initial success during the early ‘80s. After several line-up changes, the band went on to release a series of UK and US platinum and gold albums.
Iron Maiden's lyrics cover such topics as history, literature, war, mythology, society and religion. Many of their songs are based on history, classic literature and film
For over 40 years, the musicians have been supported by their famous mascot, "Eddie", who has appeared on almost all of their album and single covers, videos and merchandise.
