'Candid Caine' TV- 1969 -
Michael Caine, Clubland. Michael went to Clubland, on Walworth Road. This was a youth training establishment run by the Reverend Jimmy Butterworth and was absolutely vital as a creative springboard for the kids of south London, most of whom had next to no access to art and culture. Butterworth was a superb networker and fund-raiser, getting many of the day's stars to contribute, thus giving Clubland the very best facilities.

Reverend Ray Biddiss Who Has Become the First Man to Reach 100mph in a Hearse
Revving reverend Ray Biddiss has sped his way into the record books after becoming the first man to hit 100mph in a HEARSE.
The biking Baptist minister set a new Guinness World Record of 114mph on his customised 2.3 litre Triumph III, dragging a glass coffin carrier behind him.
He set the new record - 24 mph faster than the previous top speed - at the 3,000m runway at Elvington Airfield, York. Roy, 57, said: "I wanted to do something different and this was such a buzz - I have never experienced anything like it.
"I would like to have another go and get faster but I don't think I would get away with it with my wife."
Racing Roy, from Bradford, Yorks, has been a biker for more than 40 years and turned to God in 1996.
After a close shave while out on the road he decided to build a customised hearse to ferry people to their funerals.
He added: "I nearly got wiped out on a ride and realised if I had done I would have to be carried to my funeral in a car, and I didn't want that.
"I know some people get taken in a motorbike sidecar but a true biker wouldn't be seen dead in one of those, so I came up with the idea of an all-in-one hearse."
Roy spent GBP 20,000 buying and converting the Triumph III - the biggest production bike on the market - into the Rocket Hearse.
Now he uses the three-cylinder hybrid vehicle, which he designed himself, to take coffins to personalised funerals.
His services often feature rock music, videos and webcam link-ups.
Hearsy Rider Roy added: "The Rocket is one of a kind.
"So many bikers agree that a motorcycle hearse is the only way to travel and a few non-bikers have shown an interest too.
"This is for people who want to go out the way they...

Royal Wedding Rehearsal at Westminster Abbey, London, Britain - 28 Apr 2011
With less than 24 hours to go before she ties the knot a no doubt nervous Catherine Middleton was spotted at a wedding rehearsal at Westminster Abbey today. An anxious looking Kate, who was wearing a black and white patterned dress and white cardigan, was accompanied by best man Prince Harry. At one point Kate even seemed to be joking with onlookers about her nerves. Holding out her hands as if to demonstrate whether they were shaking or not. With the ceremony set to take place tomorrow this is the last time Kate will have the chance to practice before the eyes of the world are upon her.

Robin makes home in 12th-century St Mary's Church, Portchester Castle, Hampshire, Britain - 29 Jan 2011

Bird Of Pray
A tame robin has become a surprise addition to a historic church's flock and even joins the congregation for Sunday services, weddings and funerals.
Reverend Charlie Allen, 31, is delighted with her new feathered parishioner who has taken to making loud vocal contributions during her sermons and hymns.
She first spotted the bird inside St Mary's Church at Portchester Castle, Hants, when there was a heavy snowfall last month.
Since then it has made the 12th Century Anglican church overlooking Portsmouth
Harbour its home.
The friendly male bird is enjoying seed and water left out for it by the vicar and is even treated to crumbs of cake by people who are visiting specifically to take its picture.
Rev Allen said: "This robin is just so wonderfully tame - and also wonderfully noisy!
"If there is a service going on in the church he will be right in the middle making as much racket as he can.
"He has a beautiful birdsong and the church has very good acoustics so he is always heard.
"He is generally very nosey. He really likes to get amongst things and some days he goes to sit with the choir.
"The regular congregation are all quite at ease with him flying around during a service.
"For weddings it has been very touching and poignant to have him with us. Sometimes I think more pictures are taken of him than anyone else.
"And even at funerals he has lightened the atmosphere."
Rev Allen added: "I don't know a lot about birds but I have been astonished just how tame he is.
"He eats out of people's hands and visitors to the church are delighted.
"He moved in when we had a cold snap. He will occasionally fly outside but if he comes back to find the door closed, he'll wait by it to be let back in again.
"He seems to be very at home and must be nesting inside som...

Animals Church .
The Church of the Good Shepherd in Lower Sloane Street in London has no time for dogma . Headed by Rt. Rev H.P. Nicholson , it claims to be a revival of the Ancient Catholic Church , ' Catholic ' in the ' true ' sense of the word .- meaning that it embraces people of all creeds , races and colours , as long as they recognise the Christian God as the God of Love . It also opens its doors on the first Sunday of every month to animals , for special services of dedication and healing . On these Sundays , people bring along their sick animals to be blessed by Dr . Nicholson , and many cases of miraculous healing are on record . Dogs , cats, birds, tortoises, rabbits - all kinds of pets crowd the pews with their human owners ; and the sound of the organ and the singing of hymns is punctuated by growls and yaps and hisses as the animals wait their turn to go to the alter .
