This WILL make you hungry!
A man loves his lunch so much he scans every sandwich he eats.
Jon Chonko's Scanwiches ongoing photo project sees him placing his lunchtime snacks directly onto a scanner.
By cutting the sandwich in half, the picturial results are mouth-watering glimpses of his deli delights.
The Brooklyn-based designer says his project is "for education and delight".
Jon says he has scanned more than 200 sandwiches, published a book and shown his work at several New York galleries.
Some of his latest range from a selection of tea sandwiches with the crusts cut off, to a simple Bologna.
There is also tasty-looking a Maine Lobster Roll, various burgers and a Uruguayan Chivito.

Scientists Develop 3D Gel Smooth Food For Elderly
Scientists have developed 3D super-smooth jellified foods that look just like our everyday meals.
Scientists at Biozoon, based in Germany, use molecular gastronomy to create food that can be "printed" using a standard extruder-based printer.
Smoothfood was developed by top chefs Markus Biedermann and Herbert Thill on the basis of modern texturisers manufactured by Biozoon.
It is a concept for cultivated eating in old age or for persons with swallowing difficulties or other illnesses which make normal eating impossible.
Over 60% of elderly patients suffer from dysphagia, meaning that they struggle to swallow and digest food.
People can develop dysphagia as a result of old age, the aftermath of a stroke, suffering cancer or from several other illnesses.
Smoothfood uses raw, steamed, fresh or frozen foods which are chopped, mixed, pureed, pureed or whipped into a foam texture and then shaped so that people with chewing or swallowing difficulties can enjoy their meals.
Mathias Kueck, founder of Biozoon and co-ordinator of the EU's Performance, said: "The look and taste of the end product matches the original food item. But the texture is soft and gel-like. It dissolves easily in the mouth so that it is safe to eat for people with mastication or swallowing problems."
The technique deconstructs common foods such as chicken, carrots and fruits into a smooth form that can be eaten without chewing and then reconstructed to give the appearance of a conventional meal.
"The aim is above all to show chefs and family carers that fresh food which fulfils the requirements of the individual patient can be prepared quickly, easily and with minimum effort. ...

Royal Wedding: Buckingham Palace Preparations
With just a matter of weeks to go preparations for the marriage of Prince William to Catherine Middleton are well underway.
Staff at Buckingham Palace are already getting ready for the reception that will take place after the nuptials on 29 April.
On the big day the Palace's state rooms will play host to an afternoon reception after the ceremony at Westminster Abbey.
This will be followed in the evening by a more intimate dinner and dance for 300 friends of the royal couple.
The action will take place in the Palace's west wing with the white drawing room, the music room, the blue drawing room and the state dining room all being utilised.
Meanwhile, the official multi-tiered wedding cake is expected to be on display in the nearby picture gallery.
In order to have the palace looking its best for the events staff are working hard to display it at its finest.
For example, the palace's greatest art will be on display, with masterpieces by the likes of Canaletto, Rembrandt and Rubens.
According to Edward Griffiths, Deputy Master of the Household, palace staff are used to hosting big events and cater to roughly 50,000 guests a year.
He said 60 people will be working at the afternoon reception, doing everything from opening car doors for guests to serving them canapes and drinks.
Meanwhile, guests will also sit down to a feast prepared by the Palace kitchens.
Head chef Mark Flanagan and his 21-strong team will be responsible for catering to the 600 people invited to the afternoon reception.

Details about the food selection and the wine list are being kept a secret but it is said that the food will show off "the best of British produce."

Smoking Stars
Welcome to the weird and wonderful world of celebrity smoking - from those who are loud and proud about their need for nicotine, to those who seem ashamed of their addiction. And that's not to mention bizarre smoking habits, peculiar peccadilloes and down right unattractive behaviour.
These celeb's dreams of looking normal have all gone up in smoke after demonstrations of their bizarre smoking habits. Steve O attempts to smoke his fingers rather than the cigarette; Pete Doherty does his, like everything else in his life, the wrong way round; and Stephen Fry lives up to his eccentric reputation with a rather wacky pipe.
"Look ma no hands", these celebs shout, but really their attempts to look cool are all smoke and mirrors. Dave Navarro sucks so hard on his cigarette that he looks like he's going to swallow it; Snoop Dogg seems to be disappearing in a puff of smoke and gangsta signs; and Jack Nicholson obviously hasn't felt the nicotine rush yet as he looks extremely annoyed.
Oh girls, with such ashtray mouths your hopes and dreams of being kissed have really gone up in smoke. Kate Moss acts like the perfect fag and booze groupie; Elisha Cuthbert's attempt at a smoke ring fails spectacularly; and Britney Spears goes for the full on trailer trash chic look.
Some celebs seem positively embarrassed by their habit and, even while lighting up, try to throw up a smoke screen. "Cigarette? What cigarette?" asks Kate Hudson - "it's just cold out here"; meanwhile, like a naughtly schoolboy, Ashton Kutcher hopes that Demi isn't around to catch him.
Forget smoking gun, these female stars all look like what they desperately want is a cigarette holder. Catherine Deneuve shows that, just like actresses, your cigarette can never by too thin; Claudia Cardinale can't quit...

Roast Guinea pig (or 'Cuy') is a speciality of Peru served with chilli tomato sauce potatoes and rice
Yuck! The Things People Eat
One man has made it his mission to taste disgusting delicacies around the world.
Neil Setchfield's 'Yuck! The Things People Eat' project has seen him try unusual foods ranging from fried songbird in Cambodia to pigs brain in the Philippines.
The artfully photographed results of his brave culinary journey have been collected in a book of the same name.
Neil explains: "A couple of years ago I was walking through a market in Cambodia when I came across a stall selling stir fried tarantulas. I took some photographs but they didn't really convey the reality of what was a huge bucket piled high with a crispy gelatinous mass of cooked black spiders. So I bought some, as you do, not really sure whether to eat or to photograph. In the end I did both - the spiders tasted mainly of the spicy sauce they were cooked in - but when I looked at them in all their gory detail through the camera with a macro lens I just knew I had a interesting project.
"The reaction to the photographs was just as inspiring. Whilst everyone back in London went "YUCK!", when I showed them the pictures, in Cambodia the natural response was "YUM!". Whilst one nation was appalled the other was just peckish. And this became the entire premise of the project, how differing cultures react to different types of food.
"But the spiders were just the beginning and now three years later I've eaten and photographed everything from wild grey squirrel in the north of England to roast guinea pig in Peru, from sheep's penis and black scorpion kebabs in China to kangaroos tail in Australia. And that's just a fraction of the whole.
"What I've come to realise is that s...

Motorised table breaks world's fastest furniture record, Santa Pod Raceway, Northamptonshire, Britain - 05 Sep 2010

Fast Food... Motorised Table Breaks Fastest Furniture World Record
A wacky car fan has proved he has the fastest food by breaking a world speed record - with a motorised table.
Perry Watkins had the previous record for fastest furniture for lunch by topping out his table at 113mph. It beat a motorised sofa which managed 92mph.
The hobby mechanic whipped up a storm at Northamptonshire's Santa Pod Raceway on Sunday (5 Sep).
He was required to take two runs in an officially-timed flying quarter mile to dish up his time.
And Buckinghamshire-based Perry made sure his speedy spread - which he named Fast Food - came with all the trimmings.
It featured a delicious-looking dinner for six - complete with succulent roast chicken as table centrepiece, under which the driver's head pokes out.
Other ingenious flourishes saw exhaust fumes exiting two silver teapots, rolled-up napkin brake lights and, most impressively, flame-spewing teapots.
There were also six wrought-iron chairs, lace-effect plastic tablecloth, and, being a road-legal vehicle, the tax disc was neatly displayed on a champagne ice bucket.
He also included a Stig-like 'diner' kitted out in driving overalls and white helmet - although any resemblance to a mysterious perhaps-soon-to-be ex-BBC driver are coincidental.
The design was based on a classic Reliant Scimitar sports car chassis, fitted with a fuel-injected 4 litre Land Rover Discovery engine.
It also received a full-calorie kick thanks to a NITROUS OXIDE injection - the fuel used by Fast and Furious street racers - which boosts power from 150hp 180hp.
Perry, a sales director at high street shoe repairer Timpson, said: "I had to drive the table at speed over two runs for the official timers.
"I had reached 103mph in earlier test runs so was overjoyed that my table managed an ...
