    Red Fabrics Drying in Bangladesh
January 5, 2026, Narsingdi, Dhaka, Bangladesh: Hundreds of meters of bright red fabrics are laid out in neat rows across a field in Narsingdi, Bangladesh, during winter. Known as ''Lal Shalu'' to the locals, the long red cloths are set out to dry under the hot sun, having been dyed with bright red color. The use of sunlight to dry out the fabrics reduces production costs as it is cheaper and more sustainable. The eco-friendly drying method spans an area equal to 5 football fields and takes up to 6 hours to complete after being placed by workers at sunrise. World powers hold Iran nuke talks
March 29, 2015 - Lausanne, Switzerland: Chinese Foreign Minister Wang Yi (right) meets with U.S. Secretary of State John Kerry (second left). Negotiators from the United States, Iran and five other nations appeared to be struggling to move closer to a preliminary accord to limit Tehran's nuclear program, and signaled that they might be prepared to work another day. Even if an agreement is struck, there have been signs that several of the most difficult issues will be deferred for a final agreement in three months. The March 31 deadline was established three months ago as a mechanism to determine whether there was enough political will to reach a final accord by the end of June, when an interim agreement temporarily limiting Iran's activities expires. This Sudanese house in the northern part of the camp was in the second step of construction, when the refugees used blankets to insulate the interior. The first step was to construct a simple framework of wood, while the last step is to put a plastic cloth on top of the blankets to protect the house from the wind and rain
    The Calais camp's architecture, France
This fascinating photo series documents the range of makeshift buildings where refugees live in the Calais camp.

'Invisible Cities, Architecture of Exodus' is a project by Italian photographer Marco Tiberio, who was born in 1988. His photos show structures built by Sudanese refugees and Pakistani families as well as the Eritrean community at the camp.
