'Prostitution is seen as a leisure activity here': tackling Spain's sex traffickers. It’s staggeringly big business in Spain, where demand is being met by traffickers. Can a groundbreaking team turn the tide?
The Defenders. From right to left: BEATRIZ SA?NCHEZ, the prosecuting attorney who succeeded in sending Ioan Clamparu, the ‘capo’ of the biggest prostitution trafficking ring in Europe, to prison for 30 years. ROCI?O MORA (in the center) , former director of the NGO Apramp. The NGO sends teams of women who have survived trafficking ordeals onto the streets to seek out victims to help. In 2016, they rescued 1,259 women who were then placed in rehabilitation programs. APRAM is one of the main NGOs involved in the rescue and rehabilitation of victims. JOSE? NIETO, is the chief inspector of the Center of Intelligence and Risk Analysis (CIAR) with Spain’s National Police. He has investigated sexual exploitation of women and organized crime related to prostitution for more than 19 years. Lately, he has noticed something has changed.

Prime Minister Theresa May at 10 Downing Street. Modern slavery will only be defeated by making more people aware of the horrific abuses going on in their own communities, Theresa May said today. "People sometimes think, 'Slavery? That finished centuries ago! It isn't today's world'. They look around London and see all the positives of a dynamic, prosperous city. Antonio Demond Younger arrested wearing wig and pencilled-in eyebrows and moustache, Oklahoma, America - 05 Jun 2013
When Antonio Demond Younger was collared by cops for failing to register as a sex offender on Wednesday (5 June), his disguise wasn¿t fooling anyone.
The 6ft 3in, 230lb Oklahoma man was pulled over for allegedly speeding in a school zone wearing a lady¿s wig, pencilled in eyebrows and a drawn-on moustache.
The 39-year-old is being held at Tulsa County Jail on a $5,000 surety bond and is scheduled for a District Court appearance on 12 June.
Younger had been convicted for rape in 2006 and following his release in 2011 was required to report to law officials of his location.
Previous brushes with the law in 2007, 2010 and 2011 resulted in mugshots showing a much more macho image.

You would have thought that after a fourth arrest, this man wouldn't cry about the fact.
Serial offender Robert Mrah found himself 'posing' for another police mugshot after being collared for public intoxication on Thursday (28 June).
The 42-year-old Oklahoma man spent the night in Tulsa jail before being released from custody the following afternoon.
Seemingly an emotional fellow, Mr Mrah has been the subject of three other lively mugshots for similar offences in the last nine months.

Mounting Scandal Over Prince Andrew's 'Sex Offender' Friend
Following further revelations Prince Andrew is facing growing pressure over his links to billionaire convicted sex offender Jeffrey Epstein.
As the scandal grows the Duke of York was summoned to see the Queen at Buckingham Palace where she allegedly expressed her concern.
According to recent reports Epstein was allowed to land his private jet at an RAF fighter base during a visit to Sandringham in December 2000.
Epstein, the Duke's friend Ghislaine Maxwell and several others allegedly flew into RAF Marham in Norfolk on Epstein's Gulfstream jet.
According to The Daily Telegraph newspaper they had arrived in Britain the previous day after catching a flight from New York into Paris and then onto Luton.
The group stayed at Sandringham - the Queen's country estate - as guests of Prince Andrew for several days.
Here they enjoyed a number of typical country pursuits, including a pheasant Shoot.
Epstein was jailed for 18 months in 2008 after admitting soliciting an under-aged girl for prostitution.
He is alleged to have used his fleet of private aircraft to traffic under-aged girls around the world for sex.
Recently Virginia Roberts stepped forward to claim that she was used as a 'sex slave' by Epstein from the age of 15.
Pictures emerged of Prince Andrew with arm round around a then 17-year-old Virginia at Epstein's house in 2001.
The scandal regarding Prince Andrew and Epstein began when they were snapped in New York's Central Park together on 20 February.
Though the pair have known each other since the 1990s it was the first time they have been seen together since Epstein's conviction.

Jeffrey Epstein and Guests on a Pheasant Shoot with Prince Andrew, Sandringham, Norfolk, Britain - 08 Dec 2000
