    June 12, 2013 - Athens Greece: Late afternoon of June 11 the minister responsible for the media Simos Kedikoglou announced the immediate closure of public television and radio broadcaster ERT in a shock move that affects nearly 2,700 jobs. For two days and nights, after the announcement thousands citizens gathered outside the main ERT headquarters in Agia Paraskevi- a northern Athens suburb to show their support. Famous artists participated live at the concert supporting the workers. Supporters held banners and flags against the Troika, Samara's junta and government corruption.
