iconic looks on a shoestring budget
By Erin Cardiff, PA Real Life
A Royal superfan has created a wardrobe fit for a princess, recreating Kate Middleton
and Meghan Markles most iconic looks but on a shoestring budget.
Like many others, Raji Raju, 37, has been aware of the royal family for years, often
watching and reading about them in the news.
But it was not until November 2010, when Prince William announced his engagement
to Kate Middleton, who posed for official photographs in an iconic blue Issa wrap
dress, that she fell head over heels for Kate's style.
Now, Raji has put together her very own royal wardrobe, also taking inspiration from
Meghan Markle and Queen Letizia of Spain and she reckons she has spent just
£553 in total to be able to wear 25 of their most famous, fabulous looks.
Adding that she has now set up an Instagram page called Everyday Regal dedicated
to showing off her outfits, Raji, a project manager of Melbourne, Australia, said: With
Covid, I had a lot of time on my hands so decided to set up an Instagram page
    specifically about my royal style.
There is a lovely community of women who like to dress like Kate and Meghan, but
many of them buy the exact same outfits, which are often high-end designers and can
    be expensive.
I wanted to do something on a meagre budget and share my finds with the world.
Growing up in India, where the royal family would often visit on official tours, Raji has
always known who they are - but it was not until her engagement was announced that
the Duchess of Cambridge came on her radar.
She said: I thought she was really elegant and classy. Were a similar age, and she
was just a normal girl marrying into the royal family.
It was interesting to see all eyes on her while she learnt about all t he new rules and
royal protocol she had to follow.
I did like her engagement outfit, but t
