Olivia de Havilland (b.1916), American actress, c1930s-c1940s. De Havilland made her stage debut in 1935 as Hermia in "A Midsummer Night's Dream"; the following year she made her film debut in the same role. Soon afterwards, she was signed to a seven-year contract by Warner Bros., where she starred as a sweetly beautiful romantic heroine, often opposite Errol Flynn, in films such as "Captain Blood" (1935), "The Adventures of Robin Hood" (1938) and "The Private Lives of Elizabeth and Essex" (1939). She won two Best Actress Academy Awards - for "To Each His Own" (1946) and "The Heiress" (1949) - and received a further three nominations - one of which was for "Gone With the Wind" (1939). Her sister is the actress Joan Fontaine.

American comedian, actor and film star Buster Keaton, c1930s-c1940s(?). Keaton (1895-1966) is best remembered for his silent films of the 1920s, in which he performed physical comedy with a deadpan expression, earning himself the nickname 'The Great Stone Face'. His career suffered in the 1930s as he was frustrated by the restrictions imposed on him by the Hollywood studio system, but his fortunes rebounded after he appeared live at Cirque Medrano in Paris in 1947.

80-Year-Old Model Star Of The Catwalk Again
A grandmother is making a return to modelling after being snapped up by an agency at the age of 80.
Marion Finlayson first modelled as a teenager in the 1940s but later gave it up to become a teacher.
However, after a 60 year break she made her return to the fashion world on the catwalk at a 50 Plus Festival in Aberdeen last year.
The grandmother-of-two took part in the event to help deal with her grief over the death of her husband of 54 years Bruce.
In the process she managed to catch the eye of not one but two agencies and went on to sign with Colours Modelling Agency.
The following month she was invited down to London to model on This Morning.
And despite the fact modelling is supposedly a young persons' game, Marion has found herself in demand.
To keep her model figure she keeps active and regularly attends yoga and pilates classes.
She says: "It's great fun and I'm just happy to still do something I enjoy. I'm turning 81 next month, so I think I'm doing all right."
