Kabareet is a club run by Palestinians. in Haifa, Jews and Arabs live together in spite of certain difficulties, and in this club there is a big mix between Israelis and Palestinians.

Makimakkuk et Haykal. Makimakkuk est une talentueuse chanteuse, elle fait aussi du rap et fait parti du collectif Saleb Ouahed. Elle a grandit a Ramallah et ses parents sont refugies. Elle souhaite etudier la musique therapie car la musique l'a elle mme aide. Il faut savoir que les syndrome post traumatique, depression, et anxiete sont nombreux en Palestine et que bien souvent ils ne sont pas, ou mal, traite. Elle apporte beaucoup d'importance a la sante mentale et souhaite faire evoluer la situation. Elle est egalement DJ.
Ils sont dans le studio de Al Nather en train d'enregistrer pour une Radio Anglaise (NTS) ce qu'on appelle un " Cypher ", c'est a dire que chacun leurs tours ils rappent sur leurs productions ou celles de leurs ami.e.s.
Makimakkuk and Haykal. Makimakkuk is a talented singer, she also raps and is part of the collective Saleb Ouahed. She grew up in Ramallah and her parents are refugees. She wants to study music therapy because the music has helped herself. It should be known that the post-traumatic syndrome, depression, and anxiety are numerous in Palestine and that very often they are not, or badly, treated. She brings a lot of importance to mental health and wants to change the situation. She is also a DJ.
They are in the studio of Al Nather recording for an English Radio (NTS) what is called a "Cypher", that is to say that each one their turns they rappe on their productions or those of their friend

Al Nather et Muqata'a dans le studio de Al NAther
Al Nather: l'un des principaux personnages de cette scene. Il est ne a Jerusalem, mais passe beaucoup de temps a Ramallah. Il a son propre studio ou il enregistre avec les autres artistes les morceaux qu'il produit. C'est un Beatmaker, DJ, producteur et rappeur local. Il est important car c'est en quelque sorte l'element qui est le plus actif. Il a etudie le Sound Design a Amman en Jordanie avant de revenir vivre en Palestine. Avec son collectif, bltnm, ils produisent des artistes locaux, et organisent des soirees entre Ramallah, Haifa, et Amman. Il produit essentiellement du rap en arabe, et il collabore principalement avec un autre rappeur Palestinien Sheb Jdeed (je le mentionnerais sur une autre photo). La derniere fois, il m'expliquait les paroles d'un de ses morceaux, et ils sont tres anti gouvernement Palestiniens car ils estiment que celui ci est corrompu. Ils parlent aussi beaucoup de l'occupation, du peuple palestinien, de drogue, de soiree, de " swag " etcÉ Quand je lui ai pose la question " est ce que tu as peur de te faire arrter ? " il m'a repondu: " On n'a pas peur non, on sait que ca va arriver a un moment ou a un autre parce qu'on touche de plus en plus de gens avec nos morceaux, et que ce qu'on raconte ce n'est pas dans l'agenda politique de ceux qui sont aux pouvoirs. On espere juste que quand ca arrive, ca se fasse sans que personne ne soit blesse. "

DJ Oddz pendant la Boiler Room a Ramallah. Oddz est un DJ et producteur Techno Palestinien qui vit a Ramallah. Il se produit egalement internationalement, notamment en Europe et a Berlin. Il fait parti de ces artistes qui n'ont pas de permit pour aller se produire de l'autre cote du mur, du coup regulierement il traverse illegalement, soit en passant au dessus du mur, soit par d'autres moyens, pour aller se produire a Haifa ou Jaffa.
DJ Oddz during the Boiler Room in Ramallah. Oddz is a Palestinian DJ and Techno producer living in Ramallah. He also performs internationally, notably in Europe and Berlin. He is one of those artists who do not have a permit to go on the other side of the wall, so he regularly crosses illegally, either by passing over the wall, or by other means, to go produce in Haifa or Jaffa.
