Here’s a first look at the live action remake of animated fantasy movie, How To Train Your Dragon.
Inspired by Cressida Cowell’s New York Times bestselling book series, the original DreamWorks animation franchise which began in 2010 has grossed more than $1.6 billion USD at the global box-office.
Now, through cutting-edge visual effects, it has been transformed to bring the adventures of young Viking Hiccup and Toothless the dragon to life.
Scottish Olympus Has Fallen and 300 actor Gerard Butler plays Viking chief Stoick the Vast — reprising the role he voiced in the animated films.
His son Hiccup is played by newcomer Mason Thames.
The film is set on the isle of Berk, where Vikings and dragons have been bitter enemies for generations.
Hiccup defies centuries of tradition when he befriends Toothless, a feared Night Fury dragon.
The movie is due to be released in June next year.

Here’s a first look at the new live action version of the Walt Disney 1937 animated classic Snow White and the Seven Dwarves..

Rachel Zegler, 23, plays the title character while Wonder Woman actress Gal Gadot ,39 , is her step mother, the Evil Queen.

A teaser trailer for the film, simply titled Snow White, features the dwarves as CGI animations after early controversy about whether they would be replaced by a more diverse range of characters.

There is a glimpse of the magic mirror, Zegler singing a few lines of the classic song Whistle While You Work from the original film, plus Gadot’s character creating the poison apple.

Production on the film was rife with issues, first with the COVID-19 pandemic pushing back the original start in 2020, then with a fire causing damage to sets in 2022.

The musical adventure based on the tale collected by the Brothers Grimm, features the dwarvesBashful, Doc, Dopey, Grumpy, Happy, Sleepy, and Sneezy.

There are also all-new original songs.

Actor Andrew Burnap plays the prince Jonathan

The film has an official release date of March 21, 2025.
