The oldest Jewish cemetery in Krakow, Remu'h cemetery, in the Kazimierz district of Krakow. It was created in 1533 and remained the burial place until 1799.
Part of the inner wall of the Remu'h cemetery consists of stelae destroyed by the Nazis who used them as pavements for roads. The pieces that can be recovered after the war are part of the cemetery walls.
