A new Elvis Presley themed whiskey has hit the market — inspired by what was claimed to be the King’s favourite snack, a peanut butter, banana, and bacon sandwich.

The tipple is said to have all the flavours of the concoction and comes from the official Elvis Presley Whiskey label.

Legend has it that Elvis’ longtime cook, Pauline Nicholson, may have been the first person to serve him the now legendary late-night favourite

The Elvis Whiskey brand, created by US firm Grain & Barrel Spirits in 2021.

Previous releases were a rye and Tennessee whiskey.

The new officially named Midnight Snack whiskey is described as being “a perfectly balanced blend of sweet, savoury, salty, and smoky.”

Francis Bacon: Man and Beast is the first exhibition to chart the development of the artist's work through the lens of his fascination with animals, and how this impacted upon his treatment of his ultimate subject: the human figure. This powerful exhibition includes 46 remarkable paintings spanning his career.

Highlights include major large-scale triptychs, a trio of Bacon's paintings of bullfights from 1969, displayed together for the first time and Study of a Bull, 1991, the final painting Bacon ever made, which is exhibited publicly for the first time in the UK.

Triptych Studies of the Human Body 1970

Francis Bacon: Man and Beast is the first exhibition to chart the development of the artist's work through the lens of his fascination with animals, and how this impacted upon his treatment of his ultimate subject: the human figure. This powerful exhibition includes 46 remarkable paintings spanning his career.

Highlights include major large-scale triptychs, a trio of Bacon's paintings of bullfights from 1969, displayed together for the first time and Study of a Bull, 1991, the final painting Bacon ever made, which is exhibited publicly for the first time in the UK.
