See NATIONAL story NNkingfisher. This cheeky kingfisher was caught out gobbling a fish whilst sitting on a 'no fishing' sign. The bird was photographed as it used the sign on a pond in Lincolnshire to perch with its prey. Wildlife snapper Vince Burton said the sign was used by the birds to rest and spot their next victim. Vince, 46, of North Tuddenham in Norfolk, said: "It's good for the birds that they can't read. "I watched as they perched to look for fish and then waited until they were successful and returned there with their catch to eat. "The images were shot at Wildlife Photography Hides in Lincoln and are of a breeding pair. "Both male and female were visiting the hide and like all couples, the occasional squabble broke out." / action press *** Local Caption *** 30078352

Watch The Birdie: Kingfisher Tries Out New Career - A kingfisher was snapped behind the camera instead of in front of it
    / 130512

[These hilarious images show a kingfisher taking over a photographer's photo-shoot. Perched behind the camera instead of being in front of it, the kingfisher amused wildlife photographer, Tony Flashman with the reversed roles. Mr Flashman was setting up staged perches for birds to land on near a stream in Deal, Kent when he looked around and saw the colourful bird sat on his camera. "I had to do a double take when I saw the kingfisher sat on my camera, she was meant to be in front of it!" The little bird continued to tease Mr Flashman throughout the morning by landing on his camera instead of the purpose-built perches.
