The Diamond Princess cruise ship has been quarantined since arriving in Yokohama on February 3, 2020 with more than 3,000 people on board. More than 500 passengers aboard the cruise ship have tested positive for the novel coronavirus since February 4. The outbreak of the 2019-nCoV coronavirus began in Wuhan, China in December 2020. As of 19 February, the number of people in China infected with the new coronavirus has reached more than 74,000, the number of coronavirus cases in Japan has reached 74.
