The world’s fastest lawn mower has been crowned – after hitting just over 150 mph / 243 km/h The ride-on machine blasted its way from 0-100 mph / 0-161 km/h in just 6.29 secondsHonda's Mean Mower V2 has a power-to-weight ratio better than a Bugatti Chiron. It was equipped with a 4-cylinder engine from a Fireblade motorcycle that produces 200 hp at 13,000 rpm.The mower itself was a custom-built with an ultra-lightweight frame but a set of standard bodywork from a regular Honda HF 2622 lawn tractor. It was built by Honda and its British Touring Car Championship partner Team Dynamics to take back the title of World's Fastest Lawnmower. The driver was racer and stunt driver Jess Hawkins.Honda held the record back in 2013 until a Norwegian team used a 408-hp Corvette motor in a Viking T6 mower and took the title in 2015.But the Viking's record was 134 mph / 215 km/h.But that was beaten when the Mean Mower V2, hit 150.99 mph at the Dekra Lausitzring, race track near Dresden,Germany.
