A doughnut chain has given fans of adidas trainers a sweet treat — with a range of shoes modelled after some of its best selling flavours.

Canadian company Tim Hortons unveiled the line up featuring the Germany company’s classic Samba retro trainer as part of its 60th anniversary celebration.

There are four donut-inspired sneakers are called Boston Cream, Honey Cruller, Vanilla Dip and Double Chocolate.

They use materials in colours that reflect the doughnuts which give them their names.

These limited-edition sneakers will not be available for sale but are being offered through a national contest.

The company’s chief marketing officer Hope Bagozzi said: “We’re thrilled to be partnering with adidas for a celebration of some of the most iconic Tims donuts ever.

”There will only be four pairs of these incredibly cool  adidas Samba sneakers available to be won and we can't wait to award them to guests as a way to celebrate our 60th together.”
