The recent agreement between Greece and its creditors has sparked anger and controversy even among the governing parties as it seems not to take into account the bailout referendum result. Early in the morning 16th July, the Greek parliament agreed by majority to accept the tough package of tax rises, pension reforms and spending cuts demanded before a bailout.

The Everyday Adventures of the Shaggy Sheepdogs of Cees Bol
Cees Bol and his wife Hanneke love old English sheepdogs.

So much so that the Dutch couple post a picture of beloved pets Sophie, 4, and Sarah, 2, and their friends every day online (http://bit.ly/VDd8GZ).

The hilarious images document the adventures of the shaggy dogs throughout the year in picturesque locations near their small Dutch village of Sibculo.

Cast of characters including Sophie's brother Maestro as well as several sheepdogs owned by friends who love the breed.

Side-splitting snaps include Sophie and Sarah at the dinner table, Sophie playing chess with a puppy pal, and a sheepdog seemingly using a cash machine.

Dressing up antics see the dogs making appearances as a jailbird, a bunny, a chef and a snowman.

Cees, 45, explains: "We live in the east part of the Netherlands, close to the German border. With lots of forest in the neighbourhood and the turn of seasons, there is always time for a good walk in the neighbourhood.

"We make long walks and take them often with us when we go out. We also organise walks at different times of the year with other Old English Sheepdog lovers or meet-up with friends.

"I like to photograph, landscapes, nature, and of course our pets. Over the years we have built a good relationship with our dogs, they have a wonderful character and are very sweet and hugable.

"Nowadays we have got two sheepdogs named Sophie and Sarah, but we always had old English sheepdogs. We don't breed and do not show them, we keep them just for fun. They listen very good and know what to do and often pose already before I say something. We form a good team.

"One of the reasons I post the pictures on the in...

Britain's lowest ATM cashpoint, Whitchurch, Hampshire, Britain - 31 Jan 2010
CROUCH DOWN CASH MACHINE LEAVES LOCALS FEELING SHORT-CHANGED

Britain's lowest cash machine, which stands little more than 18 inches off the ground, is leaving locals in Whitchurch, Hants feeling distinctly short-changed.

The backbreaking ATM was installed at knee height on the wall of a HSBC branch because the building is listed and there was nowhere else for it to go.

Originally it was not quite as low but last year the pavement was re-laid, raising the level of the walkway by several inches.

Now some Whitchurch residents have found themselves relying on their children to fetch their cash for them so they don't have to bend down.

Others are forced to go down on one knee to use the machine.

However, for one villager the ATM, which is 19.8 inches from the pavement, is at a perfect height.

Standing at 4ft 6ins, dwarf Brian Wheeler, 47, doesn't have to bend double or kneel down to get his hands on his cash.

He said: "Everyone has to crouch to use it but for me it's quite handy.

"I think it's just me and the children of the town who find it the perfect height."

Actor Brian played an Ewok and a Jawa in Star Wars: The Return of the Jedi, and has also starred in the most recent Harry Potter film.

He also acted as a navigator for Top Gear host Richard Hammond during an episode in the most recent series of the hit BBC show.

He added: "The cash machine is perfect for me because I am 'the only dwarf in the village.'"

A group of residents launched a campaign to save the HSBC branch last year after it was revealed that it could close.

They failed to save the branch from closure but they managed to save the cash point.

IT manager Mike Stead, from the Save Whitchurch Bank group, said: "There is another...
