Four joined towers are set to become a landmark development on a man-made island overlooking the sea in the United Arab Emirates.
The undulating Oystra development features a 40-metre curved steel truss spanning two towers.
One of the towers has a swimming pool which encircles the top floor.
Oystra sits on Al Marjan, an artificial Island overlooking the Gulf of Arabia and designed as a premier tourism and lifestyle destination.
The 128,000 square-metre development features four interconnected towers, comprising over 800 apartments as well as penthouses.
The architecture was designed by London based Zaha Hadid Architects and is being built by local developer Richmind.
A Richmind spokesman said the architects conceived Oystra as a sculptural building shaped by the natural rhythms of sea and sky.
It was designed to be immediately recognisable and forms part of Richmind's aim to reimagine what luxury means.
Construction is due to start this year.
Richmind CEO Ammar Alassam said the project's unconventional design of a 40 metre curved steel truss spanning two of the towers has allowed the company to showcase its skills.
He explained: “This structural innovation allowed for the preservation of a continuous visual rhythm across the skyline, enabling spatial drama and structural stability.
"Oystra represents a shift in the regional architectural landscape .”
