    11th August 2016 - Rio Olympics, Brazil - Coach Ben Ryan after leading Fiji to Olympic gold vibratory in the rugby sevens. Londoner Ben Ryan today spoke of his pride after coaching Fiji to Rio glory in the rugby sevens. His team thrashed Great Britain 43-7 in the final of the debut sevens tournament at the Games, giving the tiny Pacific nation its first ever Olympic medal. Ryan, 45, a former PE teacher, has gained cult status in his new home with babies and even a pop song being named after him. In a story that has attracted interest from Hollywood producers, he quit British rugby three years ago to coach the Fijians sevens team and has steered them to a world championship and now Olympic gold.

    11th August 2016 - Rio Olympics, Brazil - Mens Team sprint win gold in the Velodrome, Phillip Hindes, Jason Kenny and Callum Skinner. Kenny, Hindes and Skinner won Great Britains third successive Olympic gold in the mens team sprint on Wednesday. Britains three-man, three-lap team sprint squad have a habit of peaking every four years and did so again as Kenny claimed his fourth Olympic gold. Britain have not won a world title in the discipline since 2005, but have now won gold at the 2008, 2012 and now 2016 Olympics. The British trio clocked 42.440 seconds, an Olympic record, to claim gold, just five months after finishing sixth in the world at the Track World Championships in London. Pictured Phillip Hindes.
