A sad Christmas card and a stunning dress worn by the late Princess Diana and valued art up to £100,000 GBP are being offered for sale.The poignant Christmas card dates from 1992, the year Diana , the Princess of Wales, separated from husband Prince Charles.Instead of the usual family group there is a black and white photograph of their sons Prince William and Prince staring glumly at the camera.The photo was taken by Lord Snowden, former husband of Queen Elizabeth’s younger sister, Princess Margaret.William was ten and Prince Harry eight.The card was sent to British dress designer Victor Edelstein and simply signed “Victor, With much love, from Diana” , is expected to sell for up to £600 GBP.Queen Elizabeth described 1992 as her “annus horribilis” following the separation of Charles and Diana and a fire at Windsor Castle.It was not until 1996 that the couple formally divorced. It is part of a Passion for Fashion auction being held in London by Kerry Taylor Auctions on December 10 this year.
