Denmark's Crown Princess Mary and her husband Prince Frederik attend the Alannah and Madeline Foundation's Dinner at The National Gallery of Victoria. The foundation works to keep children safe from violence and Princess Mary is its international patron. Also present at the event was Australian Prime Minister Kevin Rudd and former Americas Cup winning Captain John Bertram. At one point during the Prime Minister's speech Prince Frederik appeared faint and had to leave Princess Mary's side in order to sit down for a couple of minutes and drink a glass of water. Mary, the Prince and their children Christian, two, and Isabella, 16 months, recently flew into Melbourne from Hobart where they were enjoying a private holiday visiting family in Tasmania.
