FEATURE - Haifisch vor der britsichen Küste versucht Kamera zu fressen
This incredible video shows sharks swimming off the UK coast - and even nibbling the camera. See story SWSHARK. Aaron Barrett, 31, was on a boat trip with his family when he encountered the school of blue sharks. He was initially afraid but soon grew comfortable with the 7ft sharks, and said they were less scary than his pet Jack Russell. He said swimming with the sharks was a 'dream come true', but things got a little close for comfort when one of the sharks nibbled his camera.Aaron, a window cleaner, found the sharks about 20 miles off Plymouth, Devon, after 'chumming' the water with mackerel.Initially one shark arrived and Aaron quickly jumped into the water, but then lost sight of the shark. He said: “I was cautious - people say you can swim with them and it’s fine but I was quite apprehensive.“I couldn’t figure out where it had gone. That was a bit scary. It’s so deep there. Even though the water is so clear, you can’t see anything.“I wasn’t sure if they were underneath us.”Their patience paid off and after about five minutes two sharks appeared – shortly followed by a several more.Aaron continued: “In the distance they have that distinct shark look and you think ‘what am I doing?’ but then they came in real close and that’s when I started to feel really comfortable.“I moved out from the boat and started to swim alongside them while touching the dorsal fin and also guiding a few inquisitive ones away from me.“To be honest, at the time I was thinking ‘this is so cool I no longer want a dog I want a shark’. / action press *** Local Caption *** 27327260

Döner Challange: Bloggerin Kate Ovens verschlingt 3 kg Kebab / 080818 *** Social media star Kate Ovens with the giant kebab. See National story NNKEBAB; Britain's top food blogger was almost a goner when she took on her latest food challenge - a doner kebab the size of a PILLOW. Social media star Kate Ovens, famed for her massive appetite, ploughed her way through a giant lamb and chicken kebab - a dish dubbed 'London's biggest kebab.' The pretty 24-year-old demolished the 3 kg 'sandwich,' despite it containing an estimated 8,000 calories. The massive kebab was eight times bigger than normal and contained four times the recommended daily intake for a woman. Courageous chewer Kate, who runs the successful Kate's Food Challenges Facebook page, took just under an hour to munch her way through the massive lamb and chicken doner kebab - because she needed to keep taking breaks. The 5ft 5ins stunner said: "I reckon I was eating for about 45 minutes, but I did need to keep taking breaks before the end. "It's unusual to have such nice bread with a kebab and it was really doughy and fluffy. "At first it was incredible - I loved getting served a kebab the size of a pillow. "But towards the end, I would have preferred my bed - it was very tiring." Kate, from Kennington, south London, was invited to try the massive kebab - which stood more than 6 inches tall and measured more than 18 inches long - at the new Fulham branch of German Doner Kebab, in south west London. *** Local Caption *** / action press
