A rat got stuck in a bird feeder when it went into a back garden looking for food. The hungry rodent was spotted inside the wire feeder, which was filled with suet balls for the birds. He managed to scramble inside to get the food but soon became wedged in the container.Photographer Veronica Poultney took a picture of the surprised creature when she spotted him in her garden near Ely, Cambridgeshire. She said: 'I saw some rats climbing up the wall in the corner of my eye and one somehow managed to get in. The cold weather must have brought them further afield to look for food.'

Priority Eurofight Typhoon Aircraft returning to Leuchars Station due to a scramble call out for Quick Reaction Alert (QRA).

A small number of Typhoon Aircraft have temporarily relocated to Leuchars Station from RAF Lossiemouth to cover Quick Reaction Alert (QRA) during the bolthole period. This is due to the runway being resurfaced at RAF Lossiemouth for the arrival of the new P-8A Aircraft that will be homed at Lossie from Mid October.

Priority Eurofight Typhoon Aircraft returning to Leuchars Station due to a scramble call out for Quick Reaction Alert (QRA).

Live-armed QRA Typhoon fighters were scrambled for the third time in six days today. This time they intercepted Russian military aircraft operating over the North Sea near UK airspace.

The Typhoons, flown by pilots from RAF Lossiemouth, launched from Leuchars Station, in Fife where they are temporarily deployed while runway resurfacing takes place at RAF Lossiemouth.

They were assisted by an RAF Voyager from RAF Brize Norton which provided air to air refuelling for the Typhoons, and a NATO E-3A Sentry Airborne Early Warning aircraft that was re-tasked from a training mission nearby.

Wrestlers take their fights to a more unusual arena - by trying to defeat their opponents underwater.

Armed with just a mask, fins and a red or yellow swimming cap, the wrestlers must try to tear off their rival's ribbon, which is tied to wrestlers' ankles, and swim to the surface.

The unusual sport - called Aquathlon - sees wrestlers dive through rings under the water to start the combat round.

There are three 30-second rounds in which each wrestler must try to remove the coloured 20cm ribbon from their opponent.

Prince Harry or just plain Captain Wales as he is known in the British Army, races out from the VHR (very high ready-ness) tent to scramble his Apache with fellow Pilots, during his 12 hour shift at the British controlled flight-line in Camp Bastion southern Afghanistan, where he is serving as an Apache Helicopter Pilot/Gunner with 662 Sqd Army Air Corps, from September 2012 for four months until January 2013
Prince Harry tour of duty in Afghanistan - 2012
Prince Harry has been spotted out and about in London celebrating his return from Afghanistan. On Saturday night, just three days after his return, the Prince hit the town with friends and was seen stocking up at a local supermarket. It was then onto an all night house party in Fulham with a bleary-eyed Harry leaving the next morning at around 10.30. Dressed casually in jeans, a check shirt and a baseball cap the Prince was picked up in a black range rover by his royal protection officers who had been patiently waiting outside. Harry is currently on leave following his 20-week deployment in Afghanistan.
