    BERLIN'S 'SHOPPING-CAR' (AND IT APPEARS THAT THE HOUSEWIFE NEEDS ONE!)
    Two Berlin 'hausfrauen' try out their now 'shopping-car' designed by Berlin engineer Helmut Butenuth.
    The smart model has a 6.2 horse power engine at the rear, giving a top speed of about 45 miles an hour, and the consumption is about 80 miles to the gallon. It weighs 540 pounds. (Note the well stacked fruit stall in the background. There doesn't seem to be any shortage of bananas here!)
