HMS Queen Elizabeth conducts a night Replenishment At Sea (Fuel) (RAS(F)) with RFA Tidespring on 21 June 2021.

The night RAS took place whilst HMS Queen Elizabeth and the wider Task Group took part in operations in the Mediterranean Sea.
HMS Queen Elizabeth is the deployed flag ship for Carrier Strike Group 21(CSG21).
CSG21 will see the ship along with the Strike Group work with over 40 countries from around the world. The Strike Group will operate and exercise with other Countries Navies and Air Forces during the 7 month deployment.
The Strike Group includes ships from the United States Navy, The Dutch Navy, and Marines from the US Marine Corps. As well as UK Frigates, Destroyers two RFA supply ships and air assets from 617 Sqn, 820 NAS, 815 NAS and 845 NAS. RFA Argus is a Primary Casualty Receiving Ship of the Royal Fleet Auxiliary. It has a 100-bed medical complex on board. She acts as a floating medical facility.
The Royal Navy plays an essential part of the UK's military response to support people affected by Hurricanes by providing humanitarian and disaster relief to the Caribbean Islands.
When disasters occur, infrastructure and resources can be crippled, with shortages of food and water supplies and a lack of basic services like sanitation and electricity.
Responding humanely to these life-threatening scenarios is central to the Royal Navy's ethos - we have the skills, know-how and equipment to make a real difference, however extreme the circumstances.
A self-sustaining, flexible force for good - even in the most challenging conditions – The crew will work alongside local emergency services re-establishing law and order, restoring water and power, repairing buildings like hospitals and schools, reopening airstrips and roads.© MOD Crown Copyright / eyevine
