March 29, 1967 - Bremen, England, Germany - Rolling Stones drummer CHARLIE WATTS pictured at Golden Record Awards in Bremen. Little did the Rolling Stones know how apt their name - inspired by the title of a Muddy Waters song, 'Rollin' Stone' - would turn out to be. Formed in 1962, they are the longest-lived continuously active group in rock and roll history. (Credit Image: © Keystone Press Agency/Keystone USA via ZUMAPRESS.com)

Charlie Sheen arrested for domestic violence against wife, Aspen, Colorado, America - 25 Dec 2009
Actor Charlie Sheen spent much of Christmas Day in an Aspen police cell after he apparently put a knife to his wife Brooke Mueller Sheen's throat and threatened to kill her in a fight that began over Christmas after she asked him for a divorce.
Arrest papers quote Mrs Sheen saying the 'Two and Half Men' star had straddled her on a bed and held her down.
An ambulance went to the house, but no-one was taken to hospital.
Police on Saturday said the star was suspected of assault, menacing and criminal mischief. He was released on $8,500 (GBP 5,300) bail.
Sheen will appear in court in Aspen, Colorado, on February 8.

FEATURE - Jungfuchs posiert für Halloween

Photographer Richard Bowler captured these charming pictures of a young abandoned fox he has adopted – tinkering with a Halloween scene he had set up.

Richard, who lives on a rural smallholding near Corwen, Wales, took two-year-old Charlie on after he was abandoned on a patio in Hertfordshire for seven days.

He explains: “He loved exploring the little set I made up in one of our stables, his favourite game was nicking the apples and running off with them. When he did pose for me, he stuck his tongue out to as if to say this isn't going to happen. With foxes you need patience and a few bits of hidden sausage strategically placed.

“Charlie was abandoned on a patio aged about two weeks; the homeowners tried to get help for him from animal charities but after seven days contacted me. Charlie needed a lot of attention due to lacking the calcium he needed from an early from his mother's milk. Luckily, we were able to address the problems he had with his back legs; he's formed a very strong bond with me as well as with Maddy our terrier who loves all the foxes we care for.”

Two and a Half Men and Pretty in Pink alum Jon Cryer, 59, takes care of some domestic chores outside his LA home in a rare public outing. The popular actor, who turns 60 in April, seemed in good spirits as he spoke with workers outside of his home and tended to various chores. He was wearing a denim shirt with a white undershirt, brown pants, blue sneakers and a Newsboy style flat cap. In other images shot two days prior [January 27, 2025] Jon looked a little more earnest, stepping out in a striped dress shirt, black pants and the same headwear. The actor, who has a reported net worth of $70 million, lives a quiet life away from the cameras with his second wife Lisa Marie Joyner, a TV host, and their daughter Daisy, whom they adopted in 2009. "Je suis Charlie" (I am Charlie) a slogan and logo created by French art director Joachim Roncin and adopted by supporters of freedom of speech and freedom of the press after the 7 January 2015 shooting in which twelve people were killed at the offices of the French satirical weekly newspaper Charlie Hebdo. It identifies a speaker or supporter with those who were killed at the Charlie Hebdo shooting, and by extension, a supporter of freedom of speech and resistance to armed threats. Some journalists embraced the expression as a rallying cry for the freedom of self-expression.
