An old Lada car has gone up in the world – after being fitted with two six wheel pyramids in the rear and giant trucker tyres at the front.Car enthusiasts at Russian custom shop Garage 54 took an old white Lada Riva sedan to create the 14 wheel monster car. At the car only the wheels at the top of the pyramid were driven by the petrol engine , causing the others to turn. The finished vehicle was described as uncomfortable to sit in because of a lack of suspension. But it was nimble enough to perform a three-point turn before being returned to the garage for more work ahead of a road test yet to be done. One of the team who took the wheel said:” That first drive was a success. “We are looking good and though I didn’t drive that far, I at least got a feel for it now. “I was worried that would have a really, really hard time turning the wheel but as a matter of fact, turning the wheel was super easy. “We don’t even need to run any power steering in this thing, but since we don’t have suspension, the car is super bouncy going over the ridges, ruts, and potholes.”The garage is based in the Siberian city of Novosibirsk.
