Londoners facing tier 2 in the coming days arriving for work today at London Bridge
Londoners facing tier 2 in the coming days arriving for work today at London Bridge. London is to move into Tier 2 restrictions from midnight on Friday to stop Covid-19 cases escalating. MPs were told in a Government briefing that the capital is being moved into Tier 2 which will mean a ban on mixing between households indoors, including in pubs and restaurants. The rule of six will continue to apply outdoors, as will the 10pm curfew for the hospitality sector.

NEWS - Weltweite Prosteste zum Amtsantritt von Donald Trump
Anti-Donald Trump banners have been unveiled across London as the United States prepares to inaugurate its 45th President. The banners, which criticised Mr Trump's immigration policies, appeared in iconic London locations early on Friday morning. One banner draped across Tower Bridge read in big pink letters: "Act now! Build bridges not walls". Another dropped over Westminster Bridge read: "Migration is older then language". The slogans make reference to Mr Trump’s campaign pledge to build a wall between the US and Mexico and appeared hours before he is due to be sworn in as the 45th US President.
