    Fred Feuersteins Auto Nachbau
Achtung! Nur kleine Bildgrösse! - Fred Feuersteins Auto Nachbau zum Verkauf

    / 250711

[It's a replica of an iconic car that is guaranteed to turn heads.
The two-seater soft-top car is for sale at the rock-bottom price of 2,200 Euros.
And, unlike the original, this working version of Fred Flintstone's car has its own motor, meaning the driver and their passenger won't have to rely on their feet to power the prehistoric ride.

Instead, passengers can put their feet up in the fully functional version of the world famous car which is being sold by its owner in Paris.
The car has been lovingly crafted from wood and in homage to the original, has two rollers in place of wheels.
There's a wooden bench in places of seats, which is guaranteed to give both driver and passenger sturdy support.

And just in case the driver is caught in the rain, there's a cloth 'roof' which, conveniently, has a hole cut out in the back in lieu of a rear windscreen.
However, it might be prudent to bring a coat for the ride, as the car offers little protection from the elements.
Quite how you lock the 'vehicle' remains unclear.

According to the person who is selling the vehicle, the car has a 1.6 litre petrol engine and it 'ran' for about 80,000 km, since it was produced this year.
But unlike the car in the cartoon, which was first aired in September, 1960, it does not feature some of the other 'innovative' technology Fred used.
The Hanna-Barbera programme used birds as 'car horns,' which was sounded by the driver pulling on their tails or squeezing their bodies.
Other 'machines' in the show included a woodpecker whose beak is used to play a gramophone record and a baby woolly mammoth used as a vacuum cleaner.] (FOTO: DUKAS/ACTIONPRESS)

The Pennwick P5 is an electric motor-powered golf buggy capable of a top speed of 20mph. Designer and company founder John Pennington claims that because the buggy is built on a specialist chassis it drives ''more like a sports car than a golf cart''. [The P5 is inspired by the Enzo - the ultimate Ferrari which now change hands for upwards of 1 million. [A Ferrari fan loves his sports car so much he's decided to park it - in his LIVING ROOM. Devoted Jon Ryder, 28, watches TV of an evening while sat on a sofa next to his bright yellow Ferrari F355 Spider. The petrolhead moved into his new home last year and immediately began converting the garage into the ultimate lounge. He used surplus furniture from the move to kit out the room - and hid the garage door behind a curtain to retain its use. And taking pride of place in the room is Jon's ''favourite piece of Italian artwork'', the 1995 Ferrari F355 Spider.] (FOTO: DUKAS/ACTIONPRESS)
