Le N°1 du comic book "Fantastic Four" s'est vendu aux enchères pour un peu plus de 2 millions de dollars
Pictures must credit: Heritage Auctions A near mint condition copy of the first ever Fantastic Four superhero comic book has sold for more than $2 million USD. The publication detailed the adventures of Reed Richards, Sue Storm, Johnny Storm and Ben Grimm — astronauts who gain extraordinary powers like invisibility and stretchability after being hit by cosmic radiation. The previous auction record for a Fantastic Four No. 1 was $1.5 million USD sold in 2022. The new record set was $2.04 million USD / €1.83 million euros. The copy sold by Heritage Auctions in Dallas, Texas, USA is one of only two known copies of 1961’s Fantastic Four No. 1 awarded a Near Mint+ 9.6 grade. Collectors responded appropriately, as this issue opened live bidding at $1.05. Heritage vice president Barry Sandoval said: “The state of preservation of this copy is simply unbelievable. “It’s one of the greatest single comic books we have ever handled, and the final auction price reflected that.” It was sold as part of a Comics & Comic Art Signature Auction that realised $19,666,768 USD /€14.962.590 euros with nearly 6,000 bidders participating worldwide. A new Fantastic Four movie reboot starring Mandalorian and Game of Thrones TV actor Pedro Pascal and The Crown actress Vanessa Kirby is currently in production. Picture supplied by JLPPA
