An autonomous robot gardening assistant that can weed, mow the lawn, pick vegetables, clean the patio, and dump green waste in the compost heap, is under development.The device, named Willow X, is a small boxy device equipped with two arms and gripping hands.One of the arms is also a used for plugging itself in at night to a charger to top up it’s battery.Willow X moves autonomously based on computer vision. Willow is designed and built in Belgian by robotics form EEVE. It is based on an outdoor mowing robot called simply Willow, already on the market which has sold around 2,000 units.The new model has artificial intelligence capabilities and is equipped with a 4K Camera.Battery life is said to be six hours on one charge.The base model is able to negotiate slopes up to 25%.The autonomous and intelligent robots do not need a perimeter wire and avoid obstacles with ease
