The theme of the first London Design Biennale, directed by Dr Christopher Turner, is 'Utopia by Design' which celebrates the 500th anniversary of the publication of Sir Thomas Mores Utopia (1516). The first London Design Biennale will open this September at Somerset House with over 30 countries and territories participating (7 27 September).
