    11th May 2025

    Supporters and the wider community
    come together to give Emily Damari, a 28-
    year-old British Israeli Spurs fan, a hero’s welcome. Emily, a dual UK-Israeli citizen, was shot and kidnapped from her home in Kibbutz Kfar Azza during the Hamas attacks of 7th October 2023. She survived 471 days in captivity in Gaza before being released earlier this year. During her ordeal, Spurs
    fans adopted her as “One of Our Own”, showing their support by tying yellow ribbons, releasing balloons at matches, putting up posters of her around the stadium, and campaigning tirelessly for
    her safe return.

    Now finally home, Emily visited Tottenham Hotspur Stadium to show her gratitude to fans for
    their endless and tireless campaigning. “I want to give a special thanks to all the Jews in the
    diaspora, but especially to the UK Jewish community, who came out to support my mother and my family campaigning tirelessly to help secure my release,” she said.

    This is Emily’s first public appearance in London since her return, the gathering included a special
    welcome for Emily and a chance for supporters to come together in person to mark her safe
    return.

    While this gathering marks a moment of reunion and gratitude, Emily hopes it will also serve as
    a reminder that 59 hostages remain in captivity in Gaza, including her best friends Ziv and Gali
    Berman, who were kidnapped alongside her and are still being held in Gaza. She continues to
    advocate for their safe return and urges the public not to forget those still waiting to come home.

    This is Emily’s first public appearance in London since her return, the gathering included a special
    welcome for Emily and a chance for supporters to come together in person to mark her safe
    return.

    While this gathering marks a moment of reunion and gratitude, Emily hopes it will also serve as

    This is Emily’s first public appearance in London since her return, the gathering included a special
    welcome for Emily and a chance for supporters to come together in person to mark her safe
    return.

She continues to
    advocate for their safe return and urges the public not to forget those still waiting to come home.

    year-old British Israeli Spurs fan, a hero’s welcome.

    This is Emily’s first public appearance in London since her return, the gathering included a special
    welcome for Emily and a chance for supporters to come together in person to mark her safe
    return.

    Stop The Hate talk to Spurs supporters as they arrive for a match outside the Tottenham FC stadium about Emily Damari, a British Spurs fan being held hostage in Gaza.

    Stop The Hate demand immediate action to free British hostage Emily Damari, Held by Hamas for Over a Year

    They urgently call for the release of Emily Damari, a 28- year-old British woman who has been held hostage in Hamas terror tunnels in Gaza for over a year. Emily was shot and forcibly taken from her home in Kfar Aza during the brutal October 7th attack, in which 64 of her neighbours, including men, women, children, and elderly individuals, were murdered, and 18 more were abducted alongside her. Emily’s dog, Choocha, was also killed in her arms during the assault.

    Freed hostages have spoken of the severe sexual abuse endured by female captives. They describe girls treated as objects, dressed in doll-like costumes, and controlled as "dolls on a string," subjected to constant violence and psychological torment.
    Mandy Damari, Emily’s mother, has voiced the anguish of not knowing what her daughter faces: “Every day is living hell not knowing what Emily is going through. I do know from the hostages that returned that they were starved, sexually abused, and tortured. Every moment lost is another moment of unimaginable suffering or even death."
