    ZAMBIA
A girl with braids in Mukuni Village. Zabmia. The Mikuni Village is about 30 minutes from Livingstone, home to approximately 1100 Leya people. It's a very peaceful, civil, and clean village founded in the 13th century. We strolled throughout the village, learning about how they live, work, and commune with one another. They build their own tools, crafts, and homes. Their crafts are sold at the end of the village tours where you really have to spice up your bargaining skill! Mukuni Village is an authentic tribal village where thousands of people live and work. In July of each year the Leya people partake in the colorful Lwiindi Ceremony. The local people believe the spirits of their ancestors still dwell in the gorges of the Falls and during the Lwiindi, they offer sacrifices to them for rain. LONG-LOST BROTHER AND SISTER LIVE JUST 300 YARDS APART

A brother and sister have been reunited after nearly 40 years apart - only to find they had been living just 300 yards from each another.

When Ken Whitty, 64, tracked down his younger sister Yvonne he was shocked to discover he had walked past her house, and even Yvonne herself, countless times over the years. He'd had seen her in her garden, never knowing it was his sister.

He has now spent Christmas and the New Year introducing "our kid" Yvonne, 62, to her new extended family, who, unbeknownst to her, have been living just around the corner from her home in Reddish for years.

Ken and Yvonne grew up together in Ordsall, Salford, but their parents died when they were still young children and they were placed into the care of a family friend.

The siblings stayed in touch after Ken left home at 21 but lost contact when he went to visit her house in Moss Side and found it had been demolished in a slum clearance programme.

Both went their separate ways, embarking on their adult lives in homes around Manchester and never knowing what had happened to one another.

Ken became a joiner, met and married his wife Carolyn and had four children and six grandchildren. Yvonne also married and had four children and ten grandchildren.

After several failed attempts to contact his sister down the years, Ken wrote to the Manchester Evening News' 'In Touch' column just before Christmas looking for information.

He said: "I've tried lots of different avenues over the years and it all came to nothing. I often wondered what had happened to our kid and I thought we would eventually get back in touch, but time we...
