A mint condition sticker of Star Wars hero Luke Skywalker issued to coincide with the first movie in the series is set to fetch at least $100,000 USD at auction.
The sticker is from a Star Wars series by trading game card maker Topps issued in 1977 to coincide with the release of Episode IV: A new Hope.
It shows actor Mark Hamill in his defining role as the fresh-faced Skywalker, about to embark on a journey to become Jedi knight.
The sticker is officially graded Gem Mint 10 , the only one known, and bears an added MBA Gold Diamond certifying that it’s virtually perfect.
It is being sold by US sale room Heritage Auction at its Star Wars Trading Cards showcase on Nov. 9.
It’s expected to realise more than $100,000 USD / €94.900 euros.

PEOPLE - Star Wars Legende Mark Hamill beglückt Kinder im Spital
Star Wars legend Mark Hamill said being an actor and attending the premiere of his latest film were "trivial" compared with meeting sick children at Great Ormond Street Hospital. Hamill, who played Luke Skywalker, was visibly moved on a visit to the hospital where he met dozens of patients and staff including four-year-old Jake Morgan, from Barnet, who recently had a kidney transplant. As he handed out presents on the wards he called on readers to donate to the Evening StandardÕs Give to Gosh campaign.
