This world premiere of a new adaptation by Nadya Menuhin, directed by multi-award winning former Young Vic Artistic Director Tim Supple, is based on the critically acclaimed novel by 23-year-old Ulrich Alexander Boschwitz, written at breakneck speed in 1938 - the immediate aftermath of Kristallnacht - and rediscovered 70 years later, becoming a global hit translated into 20 languages.
Shot through with Hitchcockian tension, The Passenger tells the terrifyingly absurd story of respected Jewish businessman Otto Silbermann, forced to go on the run when Nazi storm troopers batter down his door, and plunged into a new world order as the streets of Germany become an orgy of state-sanctioned violence.

Kelly Price as
Elfriede, Ursula
