Couple dress as ogres Shrek and Fiona for fairytale wedding, Bridgend, south Wales - 09 May 2010
I NOW PRONOUNCE YOU OGRE AND OGRE

Most brides dream of a fairytale wedding but not many would be prepared to spend the day painted green.

But that's exactly what Tracey Williams, 33, did when it came to her big day and she dressed as princess Fiona from the smash hit Shrek films.

And fiance Viv, 53, wasn't left out either with him donning the costume of loveable ogre Shrek, who is voiced by Mike Myers in the films.

The film fans decided on the unusual wedding theme because they saw Shrek on their very first date.

Plus, friends had often teased them that they resembled the fairytale couple.

On hand to watch them tie the knot in Bridgend, South Wales was a host of other fictional characters too.

For example, Tracey's dad donned the guise of Lord Farquaad, while her mother became Fairy Godmother.

Meanwhile, maid of honour Snow White followed Tracey, with her pointy green ears and red wig, down the aisle.

Reflecting on the day Tracey commented: "Everyone said I made a lovely Princess Fiona and Viv was the perfect Shrek".

New husband Viv added: "Neither of us needed persuading at all. We were both as keen as each other.

"We watched the films, became addicted and when we decided to get married we both knew how we wanted the wedding to be.
"The whole family absolutely loved it. It looked amazing".

    SCOTTISH ARTIST'S CONDOM FASHION

With a bit of a stretch of the imagination a Scottish artist has come up with an unusual way to use condoms.

Fiona Potter, 57, weaves the latex together with silk to make clothing and pieces of art. Her latest offering is a risque crochet look dress and matching coat.

A silk weaver for over 25 years, Fiona first came up with the idea of using condoms as material in 1999 while working as a youth worker in St Andrews.

While giving a sex education class with a group of teenagers she was surprised by the condoms' elasticity and strength and was inspired.

She decided to pair the latex with silk because they are 'both quite sexual materials'.

According to Fiona people are often taken back when they learn what her creations are made of, while some love the idea.

She sold a dress with condoms woven into the panels to one distinguished lady who found it amusing to wear it to formal events where no one had any idea about the true fabric used.

Each of Fiona's artwork takes on average 40 hours to create and she receives a steady supply of out of date condoms from sex shops and health boards.

Some of her work is currently being displayed at an exhibition in California to raise awareness about Aids, and is getting rave reviews.

However, Fiona isn't able to wear any of her own creations because, ironically, she is actually allergic to latex.

Sir Paul McCartney's lawyer Fiona Shackleton looked a lot dryer as she left her London home today (18 Mar), the day after Heather Mills reportedly soaked her with water. The former Beatles' ex-wife allegedly ruined Shackleton's coiffured hair by tipping a glass of water over her head. The Sun newspaper reported that as the hearing came to an end, Mills calmly walked over to McCartney's legal representative and soaked her. The lawyer appeared outside court smiling but with wet hair. Sir Paul was ordered to pay Mills GBP 24.3 million

THE MOMENT MILLS SOAKED MCCARTNEY'S LAWYER

A court drawing of the the moment Heather Mills poured water over Sir Paul McCartney's lawyer Fiona Shackleton has been released.

The former Beatles' ex-wife reportedly soaked Shackleton at London's Royal Courts of Justice at the conclusion of divorce settlement proceedings.

Ms Mills later fumed outside the court: "Fiona Shackleton has very sadly handled this case in the worst manner you can ever, ever imagine. She has called me many, many, many names before even meeting me when I was in a wheelchair."

Shackleton, who arrived at the hearing with perfectly styled hair, left court looking wet and bedraggled.

The former model was awarded £24.3m in the settlement with yesterday (17 March).

The ex-couple had returned to the court's Family Division wing to discover Mr Justice Bennett's private decision.

There had been speculation that it could be the most expensive divorce in British legal history with Sir Paul, 65, forced to pay out anything from £10m up to £60m.

The pair, who split in May 2006 after four years of marriage, failed to come to an agreement during a six-day hearing at the High Court in February.

The Moment Mills Soaked Mccartney's Lawyer
