Une réplique officielle du Tumbler de Batman de la trilogie Batman de Christopher Nolan est en cours de production, pour un prix de près de 3 millions de dollars
Picture MUST credit: Wayne Enterprises An official replica of Batman’s Tumbler from the Christopher Nolan Batman movie trilogy is being produced — with a near $3 million USD price tag. It won’t be street legal so can only be used on private roads. Just ten models based on the vehicle used by actor Christian Bale as the Caped Crusader, will be produced. Interested fans will be chosen by film studio Warner Bros. spin-off life style brand Wayne Enterprises named after Batman's billionaire creator Bruce Wayne. People must first register their interest. The critically acclaimed Nolan series was made up of Batman Begins (2005), The Dark Knight (2008), and The Dark Knight Rises (2012). The two-seater is produced in collaboration with customisation company Action Vehicle Engineering for $2.99 million USD / €2.76 million euros each. Each Tumbler will be fully functional, and include bespoke modifications and personalisation for each buyer, including custom-fit interiors. The vehicle has a 6.2 litre engine with 525 horsepower and automatic gear change with paddle shift. It also includes imitation gun turrets and an exhaust that looks like a jet engine but there are no flames. Picture supplied by JLPPA

A ceremonial dress worn by actress Carrie Fisher as Princess Leia in the first ever Star Wars movie is coming up for sale at auction — and is expected to fetch up to $2 million USD.

Fisher is seen in the low-cut white gown as she presents medals to Han Solo, played by Harrison Ford and Luke Skywalker, played by Mark Hamill in the closing scene of 1977’s A New Hope.

The dress is thought to be the only surviving Carrie Fisher costume from the original Star Wars film.

It is being sold as the highlight of a movie and television memorabilia sale in Los Angeles being over three days from June 28th with over 1,400 original items valued at around $12 million USD.

The sale is being organised by UK company Propstore and the Leia dress was in the collection of Propstore founder Stephen Lane.

OPS: other highlights include the Batpod motorcycle ridden by Christian Bale as the Caped Crusader in Batman movies The DarkKnight from 2008 and The Dark Knight Rises from 2012. The Batpod was co-designed by Dark Knight trilogy director Christopher Nolan.
The machine also has a $1 million USD to $2 million USD estimate.

Tuesday, January 29, 2019 - Christian Bale turns 45 today on the same day that former Vice President, who he portrayed in his award-winning 'Vice' role, turns 79! We can't help but wonder if the Oscar winning actor and the controversial VP exchanged birthday wishes! When we spotted Bale taking a stroll in Santa Monica yesterday, he appeared to have already lost the 40 lbs he gained to portray George W. Bush's right-hand man, and he's already won both the Golden Globe and Critic's Choice Awards for Best Actor.
