Fans of late rocker Prince can soak up the Purple Rain atmosphere in a new Airbnb venue — created by two members of her former band.

It is the property used by the star, who died aged 57 in April 2016, by his character Kid in the Purple Rain movie.

And the opening of its doors marks the 40th anniversary of the film.

Prince, who died from a fentanyl overdose at his Paisley Park recording studio and home in Chanhassen, Minnesota, purchased the property a year before his tragic passing.

Although the home has been closed to the public for the past nine years, his  Revolution bandmates are opening the doors for a few lucky fans next month.

Wendy Melvoin and Lisa Coleman will be hosting the overnight stays.

The pair who later had their own musical careers as Wendy & Lisa, said: “We were lucky enough to be a part of the music scene in Minneapolis during such a pivotal era for rock music, playing with Prince in one of the most successful bands of our generation and starring alongside him in the Purple Rain film.”
